Mr Froneman was appointed CEO of Aflease Gold Limited, or Aflease Gold, in April 2003. Aflease Gold, through a series of reverse takeovers, became Gold One in May 2009. Mr Froneman was primarily responsible for the creation of Uranium One Inc., or Uranium One, from the Aflease Gold uranium assets. During this period, Mr Froneman was Chief Executive Officer of both Aflease Gold and Uranium One until his resignation from Uranium One in February 2008.
